Warm Flow Yoga

Warm Yoga is performed in a mildly heated room. It is a sequence of static poses that are held for 30 – 60 seconds. In warm yoga the room temperature and breathing techniques (ujjayi pranayama) warm and loosen the muscles for action. The static poses help to build focus, balance and strength, building a strong physical and mental foundation. Warm Yoga strengthens the body and mind to maintain a strong upright posture and mental clarity that you carry off the mat and into your life. The class ends with a 10 minute Shavasana to integrate and “soak-in” all of the change. Please remember to bring a towel and a bottle of water as we will sweat.
